Ursula is a registered psychologist who brings a warm, genuine, and collaborative approach to working with clients. Ursula places great importance on creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing space in which clients can feel encouraged to bring their whole selves to therapy, develop a deeper understanding of their experiences, and learn ways to reduce their distress.
Ursula has experience working with adolescents, adults, and families living with mental health difficulties in both public and private mental health settings. She has experience with a variety of presentations; however, her areas of interest include relationship and interpersonal difficulties, mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, stress and burnout, grief and loss, and self-esteem.
Ursula works from an attachment and relationally informed lens and draws on a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Ursula has also received training in Level Two Gottman Couples Therapy.

The cost of a 50-minute consultation with Ursula is $200.00, which is payable at the end of the session by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card. If referred by a GP or psychiatrist along with a Mental Health Care Plan, clients receive a rebate of $93.35 per session through Medicare. This will be processed at the end of each session. Up to 10 Medicare-rebated sessions can be claimed per calendar year.
Ursula practices at Macquarie Street on Thursdays and is available for new clients.
